Feraligatr ex
Rotated OutA powerful Water-type attacker that disrupts opponents and deals heavy damage based on existing harm.
What this card does
The Overpowering Fang ability stops most non-ex Pokémon from using special powers while it is active.
The Tsunami attack deals 10 damage to all of the opponent's bench Pokémon.
The Sore Spot attack deals 70 base damage plus an extra 10 for each damage counter on the target.
Overpowering Fang
As long as Feraligatr ex is your Active Pokémon, each player's Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex) can't use any Poké-Powers or Poké-Bodies.
This card uses its ability to block simple tricks from weaker opponents. It then focuses on dealing massive damage with its second attack, especially if the enemy has already taken hits.
Attacks
Does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Does 70 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon.
Abilities
As long as Feraligatr ex is your Active Pokémon, each player's Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex) can't use any Poké-Powers or Poké-Bodies.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits a deck that wants to control the board and punish opponents who spread damage around. You need enough Water energy to power its heavy attacks.
- •Blocks opponent abilities
- •Heavy bench damage
- •Scales with damage counters
- •Gives away two prizes
- •Weak to Lightning types
- •Requires many energy cards
Use the Tsunami attack early to weaken the bench before focusing on the main attacker.
Feraligatr is known for its powerful jaws and fierce temper in battle.
Remind your child that knocking out this Pokémon gives their opponent two prize cards, so it is a high-risk move.
