What this card does

The Farewell Bell is a Tool card you attach to one of your Pokemon VMAX.

If that Pokemon is Knocked Out by an opponent's attack, you search your deck for any card and add it to your hand.

You must then shuffle your deck after taking the card.

What it does

Farewell Bell

If the Pokémon VMAX this card is attached to is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent's Pokémon, search your deck for a card and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

This card acts as a second life for your powerful VMAX Pokemon. Instead of losing the Pokemon to the discard pile, you get to pick a replacement card from your deck to help you continue playing.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely on a specific VMAX Pokemon to win games. It is most useful when you need to keep that key player in play or recover a crucial resource after a tough hit.

Strengths
  • Prevents total loss
  • Recovers resources
  • Protects key players
Watch out for
  • Only works on VMAX
  • Requires shuffling
  • One use per card
Pro tip

Attach this to the VMAX Pokemon that is your main attacker or your most important support player.

Good to know

Bells are often used in stories to signal important moments or ward off bad spirits.

Note for the parent

Remind your child to shuffle their deck thoroughly after using the card so the opponent cannot guess what they drew.
