What this card does
The card stays face up on the field as a Stadium effect.
It applies a rule to both players during the game.
Dust Island
Whenever either player switches their Poisoned Active Pokémon with 1 of their Benched Pokémon with the effect of a Trainer card, the new Active Pokémon is now affected by that Special Condition.
When a player uses a Trainer card to switch their Poisoned Active Pokemon with one from the bench, the new Active Pokemon also becomes Poisoned. This means the poison status does not reset or disappear just because you changed which Pokemon is fighting.
Which deck it belongs in
This card fits decks that rely on inflicting Special Conditions like Poison to weaken opponents over time. It is useful for players who want to maintain pressure even when they need to switch their main attacker out.

Remember that if your child switches their own poisoned Pokemon, they must also move the poison to the new one.
