Drampa V
Rotated OutA sturdy Basic Dragon type that trades card advantage for heavy damage.
What this card does
It has 210 HP and costs only Colorless energy to play.
Spike Draw lets you take two extra cards from your deck for just one energy.
Dragon Pulse deals 160 damage but forces you to throw away the top two cards of your own deck.
Dragon Pulse
Discard the top 2 cards of your deck. (160 damage)
This card offers a choice between stabilising your hand with Spike Draw or finishing a game quickly with Dragon Pulse. The downside is that using its strong attack leaves you with fewer resources for future turns.
Attacks
Draw 2 cards.
Discard the top 2 cards of your deck.
Which deck it belongs in
It fits well in decks that want to draw cards rapidly or deal big damage early. It works best when the deck can afford to lose those top two cards without losing momentum.
- •High HP
- •Card draw
- •Big damage
- •Discards cards
- •Fighting weakness
Use Spike Draw when you are running low on options, and save Dragon Pulse for when you can afford to lose those top two cards.
Drampa is known as the Gentleman Pokemon and is said to be gentle unless provoked.
Watch out for the card discard effect, as it can weaken your child's position if they rely on specific cards at the top of their deck.
