Rotated Out

A Stadium card that helps both players find energy from their discard pile.

StadiumBeginner to play

What this card does

This card stays in play until another Stadium card is played.

You cannot play it if another copy of Conductive Quarry is already in play.

Once per turn, each player can flip a coin to search their discard pile for Lightning or Metal Energy.

What it does

Conductive Quarry

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. Once during each player's turn, the player may flip a coin. If heads, that player searches his or her discard pile for a Lightning or Metal Energy card, shows it to the opponent, and puts it into his or her hand.

This card creates a shared benefit where both players can potentially find extra energy cards. It matters because finding energy from the discard pile helps keep your Pokemon powered up without needing to draw new cards.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely heavily on Lightning or Metal Energy types. It works best in games where both players have discarded energy, allowing you to recycle them back into play.

Strengths
  • Recycles discarded energy
  • Helps both players
  • Stays in play
Watch out for
  • Coin flip risk
  • Vulnerable to other Stadiums
  • Limited to specific energy types
Pro tip

Play this card early to start searching for energy, but be ready to discard it if your opponent plays a different Stadium.

Good to know

Conductive Quarry is a Trainer card from the Stormfront set.

Note for the parent

Remind your child that the coin flip is random, so they might not always get the energy they need.
