What this card does

It discards two cards from the opponent's deck using Jealously Singe.

It attaches Basic Fire Energy to up to three Benched Pokémon using Flame Surge.

Signature attack

Flame Surge

Choose up to 3 of your Benched Pokémon. For each of those Pokémon, search your deck for a Basic {R} Energy card and attach it to that Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. (100 damage)

The Flame Surge attack allows you to rapidly power up multiple Pokemon on your bench by searching for Fire Energy. This strategy works well if you need to boost several attackers at once but requires shuffling your deck afterwards.

Watch out for
  • High risk of losing prizes
  • Deck shuffling delay
  • Water weakness
Pro tip

Use Flame Surge to set up your bench before attacking with a powerful Pokemon in the active spot.

From the Pokédex

Chi-Yu is said to have been sealed away because its burning heart caused droughts and wildfires.

Note for the parent

Remind your child that knocking out this Pokemon gives the opponent two prize cards, so it is important to protect it during play.
