Cheerleader's Cheer

Rotated Out

A risky Supporter card that helps you find new options but might help your opponent too.

SupporterBeginner to play

What this card does

You place this card next to one of your active Pokemon during your turn.

You draw three cards from your deck to add to your hand.

When your turn finishes, you discard the card.

What it does

Cheerleader's Cheer

You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card. Draw 3 cards. Your opponent may draw a card.

This card lets you quickly refresh your hand by drawing three new options. However, it carries a risk because your opponent also draws a card, which could give them useful resources.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that need to find specific cards quickly but can afford to give the opponent an extra move. It works best when your opponent's deck is already struggling or empty.

Strengths
  • Card advantage
  • Quick search
  • Uncommon rarity
Watch out for
  • Opponent draws a card
  • One per turn limit
  • Must be discarded
Pro tip

Use this card when your opponent has few cards left in their deck to minimise the impact of them drawing one.

Good to know

Supporter cards represent people who help trainers, like coaches or researchers, rather than Pokemon themselves.

Note for the parent

Ask your child why they chose to play this card instead of a safer option, as it gives away a card to their opponent.
