Charizard G LV.X
Rotated OutA powerful Fire-type Pokemon that grows stronger by moving energy from other cards.
What this card does
Charizard G starts with 120 hit points and costs three Fire, two Colorless, and one additional Fire Energy to attack.
You can use the Call for Power ability to move an Energy card from another Pokemon to Charizard G as often as you like during your turn.
The Malevolent Fire attack deals 150 damage but requires a coin flip that risks discarding all attached Energy if it lands on tails.
Call for Power
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may move an Energy attached to 1 of your Pokémon to Charizard G. This power can't be used if Charizard G is affected by a Special Condition.
The key feature is the ability to shift energy cards from your other Pokemon to Charizard G. This lets you concentrate resources on one strong attacker while keeping other Pokemon active.
Attacks
Flip a coin. If tails, discard all Energy attached to Charizard G.
Abilities
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may move an Energy attached to 1 of your Pokémon to Charizard G. This power can't be used if Charizard G is affected by a Special Condition.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits aggressive Fire decks that focus on powering up a single powerful Pokemon quickly. It works best when paired with cards that can protect it from special conditions or help recover energy.
- •High damage output
- •Flexible energy usage
- •Strong attacker potential
- •Vulnerable to water attacks
- •Risk of discarding energy
- •Disabled by special conditions
Use the Call for Power ability to give Charizard G enough energy for its attack before you try to use Malevolent Fire.
Charizard is a legendary Fire-type Pokemon known for its ability to breathe fire hot enough to melt boulders.
Explain to your child that the coin flip is a risk they must take for high damage, and losing all energy might end their turn early.
