Castaway
Rotated OutA versatile Supporter that finds exactly what you need for the next turn.
What this card does
You place Castaway next to your Active Pokémon when you play it.
At the end of your turn, you search your deck for a Supporter, a Tool, and a basic Energy card.
You show these cards to your opponent and add them to your hand.
Castaway
You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card. Search your deck for a Supporter card, a Pokémon Tool card, and a basic Energy card. Show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Castaway acts as a bridge between turns by letting you grab three different types of resources at once. This helps you set up powerful attacks or protect your Pokémon without wasting time searching blindly.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that rely on specific Tools for damage boosts or need to chain Supporter effects together. It is also useful in slower decks that want to ensure they always have basic Energy available.
- •Multi-resource search
- •Deck consistency
- •Tool delivery
- •One supporter limit
- •Deck shuffling required
- •Discard at end of turn
Use it when you specifically need a Tool to boost your Active Pokémon's attack or a basic Energy to power up a move.
Castaway is a fictional Pokemon from the Crystal Guardians set and does not appear in the main video games.
Remind your child that they can only play one Supporter card per turn, so using Castaway means they cannot play any other Supporter until their next turn.
