What this card does

You discard your whole hand and then draw 5 new cards.

If you went first, you are allowed to use it on your very first turn.

What it does

Carmine

If you go first, you may use this card during your first turn. Discard your hand and draw 5 cards.

Carmine has you shuffle off your current hand and draw a fresh five. Most draw Supporters cannot be used by the player going first on turn one, but Carmine can. That makes it a reliable way to dig for a strong opening.

Which deck it belongs in

It fits draw-hungry decks like N's Zoroark ex that want to cycle cards quickly and set up fast.

Strengths
  • Refreshes a weak hand into five fresh cards.
  • Usable on the first turn when going first.
  • Simple and reliable draw for any deck.
Watch out for
  • It discards your current hand, so you can lose useful cards.
  • Only one Supporter may be played each turn.

Feeds the fast card cycling this deck relies on to set up.

Boss's Orders
Boss's Orders

Carmine digs toward the gust card you want later in the game.

Pro tip

Use it when your hand is clogged, since trading a poor hand for five fresh cards is its best use.

Good to know

Carmine is a Trainer from the Kitakami region, known alongside her brother Kieran in recent stories.

Note for the parent

Carmine is a Supporter, and a player may only use one Supporter each turn. The first turn allowance is handy, since it helps the player going first get going.
