Cacturne ex
Rotated OutA grass type ex Pokemon that blocks special energy and deals extra damage to tired foes.
What this card does
Cursed Glare stops the opponent from attaching Special Energy cards to their active Pokemon.
Psybeam does 20 damage and confuses the defending Pokemon.
Spike Rend deals 50 damage plus an extra 20 if the defender already has damage counters.
Cursed Glare
As long as Cacturne ex is your Active Pokémon, your opponent can't attach any Special Energy cards (except for Darkness and Metal Energy cards) from his or her hand to his or her Active Pokémon.
The Cursed Glare ability is very strong because it stops your child's opponent from using powerful Special Energy cards to boost their attacks. This forces the other player to rely on basic energy which grows more slowly.
Attacks
The Defending Pokémon is now Confused.
If the Defending Pokémon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 50 damage plus 20 more damage.
Abilities
As long as Cacturne ex is your Active Pokémon, your opponent can't attach any Special Energy cards (except for Darkness and Metal Energy cards) from his or her hand to his or her Active Pokémon.
Which deck it belongs in
