What this card does

This Trainer card stays on the table for the whole game until another Stadium card replaces it.

It prevents all players' evolved Colorless, Darkness and Metal Pokemon from using Poké-Powers or Poké-Bodies.

What it does

Battle Frontier

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. Each player's Colorless Evolved Pokémon, Darkness Evolved Pokémon, and Metal Evolved Pokémon can't use any Poké-Powers or Poké-Bodies.

This card acts as a global rule changer that locks down specific types of powerful Pokemon. It matters because it stops opponents from relying on the special abilities of their evolved creatures.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that want to slow down opponents who depend heavily on Colorless, Darkness or Metal evolved Pokemon. You would play it when you need to neutralise those specific threats.

Strengths
  • Global effect
  • Durable presence
  • Specific disruption
Watch out for
  • Irrelevant against other types
  • Vulnerable to replacement
  • No direct damage
Pro tip

Play this early to stop the opponent from using their evolved Pokemon's abilities for several turns.

Good to know

Battle Frontier is a theme park in the Hoenn region where trainers can challenge the Elite Four and Champion.

Note for the parent

Remind your child that this card affects both players and disappears if another Stadium card is played.
