What this card does

Arcanine G reduces its retreat cost by one for each Fire Energy attached to it.

Its Overrun attack deals 40 damage to the opponent's active Pokemon and 20 damage to one of their bench Pokemon.

Signature ability

Extreme Speed

Arcanine G's Retreat Cost is Colorless less for each Fire Energy attached to Arcanine G.

The Extreme Speed ability makes Arcanine G cheaper to move around the battlefield as you add more Fire Energy cards. This speed helps it avoid being stuck in a bad position while still dealing significant damage across the board.

From the Pokédex

Arcanine is known for its beauty and speed, often described as too fast to be seen by the human eye.

Note for the parent

The ability to damage bench Pokemon is powerful because it forces your child's opponent to worry about all their cards, not just the one fighting.
