What this card does

Tail Code lets you move an Energy card from the defending Pokemon to another of your opponent's Pokemon.

Snap Attack deals 60 damage, but drops to 20 if the target has any Energy attached.

Signature attack

Snap Attack

If the Defending Pokémon has any Energy cards attached to it, this attack's base damage is 20 instead of 60. (60 damage)

The Tail Code attack is its key feature because it disrupts the opponent's setup by stealing their resources. This makes it harder for them to power up strong attacks while giving you a card advantage.

From the Pokédex

Ambipom evolved from Monferno and uses its long tails to catch prey with incredible speed.

Note for the parent

Remind your child to check if the defending Pokemon has Energy before using Snap Attack, as it will deal much less damage in that case.
