Aerodactyl VSTAR
Rotated OutA powerful Fighting-type Pokémon that shuts down opponent abilities at the cost of its own deck.
What this card does
It uses the attack Ancient Star to stop your opponent's Pokémon V from using their Abilities.
It uses the attack Lost Dive to deal heavy damage but removes three cards from your deck permanently.
Lost Dive
Put the top 3 cards of your deck in the Lost Zone. (240 damage)
The key feature is Ancient Star, which disables the special powers of most strong Pokémon in play. This makes it a tough opponent to fight because they cannot use their own tricks against you.
Attacks
Put the top 3 cards of your deck in the Lost Zone.
Until this Pokémon leaves play, it gains an Ability that has the effect "Your opponent's Pokémon V in play, except any Aerodactyl VSTAR, have no Abilities." (You can't use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.)
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that rely on stopping specific powerful threats rather than using many different abilities itself.
- •Disables opponent powers
- •High damage output
- •Strong against ability decks
- •Destroys own deck cards
- •One VSTAR Power per game rule
- •Fighting type weakness
Use Ancient Star early to stop the opponent from gaining an advantage before they can attack.
Aerodactyl is a prehistoric Pokémon that was revived from an amber fossil.
Remind your child that once they use Lost Dive, those three cards are gone for the rest of the game and cannot be retrieved.
