Absol G
Rotated OutA dark Absol that can remove energy or force a knockout.
What this card does
Feint Attack deals 20 damage and ignores opponent defences.
Doom News returns its own energy to you and knocks out the defending Pokemon next turn.
Feint Attack
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage to that Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on that Pokémon.
The Feint Attack is useful because it bypasses Weakness, Resistance and other protective effects. This means it hits even if the target would normally take less damage or be shielded by abilities.
Attacks
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage to that Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on that Pokémon.
Return all Energy cards attached to Absol G to your hand. The Defending Pokémon is Knocked Out at the end of your opponent's next turn.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits a deck that focuses on disruption and removing energy resources. It works well when you need to weaken key targets quickly.
- •Ignores defences
- •Removes energy
- •Forces knockout
- •Low HP
- •Fighting weakness
- •Delayed effect
Use Feint Attack against Pokemon with high Resistance to ensure the damage lands.
Absol is known as the Disaster Pokemon and is said to appear before natural calamities.
Explain that Doom News is risky because it gives the opponent time to recover before the knockout happens.
