Crustle
A Grass wall the big ex decks cannot get past.
What this deck is
A defensive deck built around Crustle and its Mysterious Rock Inn Ability, which prevents all damage from the opponent's Pokémon ex. In a format full of ex attackers, that makes Crustle a wall many decks simply cannot break.
The plan is to wall up behind Crustle, chip away with Superb Scissors, and grind the game out while the opponent's main attacker does nothing.
- 1Evolve Crustle from Dwebble and put it in the Active Spot.
- 2Shut down the opponent's Pokémon ex, which take zero damage through Mysterious Rock Inn.
- 3Chip away with Superb Scissors, which ignores effects on the opponent's Active Pokémon.
- 4Grind out the win while their big attacker is stuck doing nothing.
Who it suits
A patient player who enjoys defence and shutting down the opponent's best card. Strongest against the big ex decks, weaker against single-Prize attackers.
