Pokémon is more fun when everyone is friendly. Good players are good sports first.
These are the things judges and other players love to see.
At the table
Treat your opponent the way you would like to be treated. Win kindly and lose kindly.
- ✔Shake hands and say good luck at the start.
- ✔Play clearly so your opponent can see what you are doing.
- ✔Say sorry if you make a mistake, and call a judge if you are unsure.
- ✔Say well played at the end, win or lose.
When something goes wrong
Everyone makes mistakes, and that is fine. If you are not sure about a rule, raise your hand and ask a judge. That is exactly what they are there for.
Being unsure is normal. Asking for help is a sign of a good player, not a weak one.
Remember
- •Be kind whether you win or lose.
- •Play clearly and honestly.
- •Ask a judge whenever you are unsure.
